I’ve decided to make a sort of microsite apart from my regular blog, Nothing Spaces, centered solely on books. While I do have an existing book blog chronicling my reads for 2010, I find that Tumblr-based blogs make me more likely to ramble. I’m also hoping to post about poetry and issues on publishing.
Book Report started as an idea to collate my reads and purchases every month, kind of like Nick Hornby’s old column in Believer magazine. And, then I started thinking about how I’d want to post about a number of other things, so the idea evolved into it being some sort of hub for things concerning books and literature.
And now, we are here.
At the moment, I’m still optimizing everything (i.e., figuring out which widgets to put, what categories/tags to use, etc.) to make it as neat and as streamlined as possible.
